A reach of 660,000 people on Facebook and growth of 500 new followers per day: these results accompanied a strategy built on influencer collaborations and media coverage.

The context: expanding our Facebook audience

To develop our visibility on Facebook, we wanted to reach people beyond our existing community and turn that exposure into audience growth.

The challenge was twofold: introduce our content to new audiences and give them a reason to follow us. A post can circulate widely without producing an equivalent increase in followers. We therefore sought both reach and momentum in audience growth.

The actions: developing collaborations and coverage

We developed collaborations with influencers to introduce our content to their communities.

These collaborations allowed us to reach beyond our usual followers. They created opportunities for discovery among people who were not yet following us, through creators who already had a relationship with their audiences.

Our content was also picked up by the media. This coverage brought additional exposure and created more points of contact with new audiences.

The approach combined two complementary levers: influencer collaborations and the visibility provided by the media. Our presence could grow beyond the distribution achieved by our own Facebook page.

The results: 660,000 people reached and strong follower growth

This momentum translated into two major results:

  • A reach of 660,000 people on Facebook.
  • A growth rate reaching 500 new followers per day.

Reach measures the scale of the exposure achieved. Follower growth shows that some of this visibility was accompanied by an interest in following our presence over time.

The two measures should be distinguished: not everyone reached became a follower. Similarly, the rate of 500 new followers per day describes the pace achieved, without assuming it was maintained throughout the entire period.

What this case demonstrates

Growing a Facebook audience also depends on relationships built beyond your own page.

Influencer collaborations and media coverage helped expand our visibility. With a reach of 660,000 people and growth reaching 500 followers per day, this approach combined exposure to new audiences with community growth.

The lesson is practical: to grow a presence, you also need to create the conditions that make others want to share it.
